Waiting month after month for a positive pregnancy test can be exhausting and lonely. Many couples in Wakad and across Pune go through it quietly, often fielding questions from family that only make it harder. At Venus Women’s Wellness Clinic, we listen, explain what is going on and guide you one step at a time.
Why conception can take time
Getting pregnant depends on several things working together: regular ovulation, healthy fallopian tubes, a receptive uterus, healthy sperm and good timing. A problem with any one of them, such as PCOD, a thyroid imbalance, blocked tubes, endometriosis, a low sperm count or simply age, can make conception harder. Stress, weight and lifestyle play a part too. For some couples no single cause is found. That can be frustrating, but there is still a way forward.
How we work with couples
Dr. Madhavi Tayade holds a diploma in Infertility Management, and she evaluates both partners from the start: hormonal tests, sonography and ovulation tracking for the woman, and a semen analysis for the man. Tube testing and other investigations are added when needed. Many couples are helped by ovulation-support medicines, treatment of an underlying condition and well-timed intercourse. When IUI or IVF is the right step, she explains the options honestly, refers you, and keeps supporting you through the process.
Ayurvedic care runs alongside, for both of you. Nadi Parikshan helps her understand each partner’s constitution. For couples preparing for IVF, a pre-IVF Panchakarma programme may help detoxify, support hormone balance and uterine and sperm health, and reduce stress. Studies and clinical experience suggest it may support implantation, though no therapy can promise a result. In selected cases, Uttar Basti may be considered after examination. Diet, yoga and stress management complete the plan, all under medical supervision.
When to seek help
See a doctor if you have been trying for 12 months, or six months if you are over 35. Come sooner if your periods are irregular or absent, if you have had more than one miscarriage, if you have a history of pelvic infection or surgery, or if your partner has a known health concern.
Coming for your first visit
Bring all earlier reports, scans and prescriptions for both partners. If you can, come together. It helps us plan faster, and it makes clear that this is something you are working on as a couple.
When you feel ready for the next step, we are here to take it with you. Call us or book an appointment with Dr. Madhavi Tayade at our clinic in Wakad.
